WIT 2020 Wonder Women

In front of a packed house of more than 800 attendees inside Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers in NYC tonight, Women in Toys, Licensing & Entertainment (WIT) revealed its 2020 Wonder Women at the 16th Annual Wonder Women Awards. The event, presented during Toy Fair New York, honors the best and brightest women that are making waves across the toy industry, licensing, and entertainment.

The Toy Book Editor-in-Chief Maddie Michalik was honored as a 2020 Wonder Woman in the category of Rising Star: Corporate.

Maddie joined Adventure Media and Events as an intern, gradually working her way up through the ranks to become managing editor of the Toy Book in 2018. Michalik was named editor-in-chief last month. In addition to her work on the Toy Book, Michalik serves as a senior editor for the Toy Insider and the Pop Insider, and can be seen showing off some of the hottest toys and games in TV segments across the country throughout the year.
