The Toy Industry Association (TIA) will be holding two educational webinars as part of the TIA’s Knowledge Network, the Association’s year-round educational program that aims to educate and inform toy industry members.
The first webinar, Marketing Green Toys: A Review of the New FTC Green Guides and Their Impact on Toy Industry, will be held on November 16 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Eastern time. It is open to industry stakeholders and recommended for those who work on toy marketing and advertising. The webinar will cover the Federal Trade Commission’s revisions to the Green Guides and discuss its implications. Experts from the law firm Keller and Heckman LLP will present the information. This webinar is free for TIA members. Non-members can join the presentation by paying a fee.
The second webinar, Toy Fair PR Bootcamp: Tips for Developing Your Toy Fair 2013 Media and Promotion Strategies, will be held on December 12 from 2 to 3 p.m. Eastern time. This webinar is designed for American International Toy Fair exhibitors. It will provide them with important tools and techniques for building media relations leading up to the show. The webinar will also include information on how to get noticed by buyers and media and how to capitalize on promotional opportunities available through the TIA. The webinar is free for members of the TIA.
