It’s been a big week for TOMY International. Following the acquisition of Fat Brain Toys and a deal to produce toys based on 20th Century Studios’ Ron’s Gone Wrong, the company inked a deal with Illumination and Universal Brand Development to produce toys based on Sing 2, which is set for a theatrical release on Dec. 22, 2021.

“Audiences everywhere have already fallen in love with the relatable characters of Sing, and we’re looking forward to bringing them to life and into playrooms,” says Morgan Weyl, director of global toys at TOMY. “The Sing films are about overcoming obstacles and pursuing dreams, so we created a musically-infused toy line that will help inspire the next generation to shoot for the stars — no matter what challenges they may face along the way.”

The Sing 2 toy collection will include feature plush, collectible figures, and a role-play game.
