After years of helping companies get their toys onto retail shelves, Traverse Group is taking the next step and developing a product portfolio of its own.
The retail group has launched ToyVerse, a new toy company making its industry debut at the LA Fall Preview 2026. This venture will develop both original and licensed products across a wide range of categories — including construction, novelty, plush, crafts, and collectibles — all brought to market by Traverse Group’s well-established supply chain and retail infrastructure. The first toys will begin rolling out to retailers in Fall 2027.
“Launching our own toy development company was a natural progression given the retail reach and customer base the Traverse team has built up over the years,” said JD Hayes, co-founder of Traverse Group. “We are excited to build on our strong retail footprint and leverage our end-to-end supply chain infrastructure to bring innovative products directly to consumers worldwide.”
Leading the operation is industry legend Claire Carroll, who joins ToyVerse from multiple senior leadership roles at Toy Monster and Moose Toys. She will oversee the venture from its newly created headquarters in Melbourne, Australia.
