In an oversaturated and stagnant sector like toy bubbles, companies have to think creatively to rise to the top.

Twist Toys is launching a new brand, The Bubble Lab, to disrupt this middling market with innovative products dedicated to bringing the magic back to bubbles. The brand will reveal the first two products of its flagship line at this year’s Toy Fair in New York, ahead of the official launch later this spring.

It dawned on me, after selling the same tired bubbles year after year, that the category was in desperate need of some innovation. We combined two extremely fun play patterns to form one amazing item with The Bubble Lab Explosion, and a great industry friend introduced us to a blockbuster item called The Bubble Lab MegaPhone that brings the magic of sound to bubbles."
— Andrew Kamondy, Founder, Twist Toys

Bubble Lab Explosion combines two things kids and kidults love: engaging, interactive play and collectible surprises. The novelty line features an assortment of colorful Test Tubes containing a unique stackable bubble solution. Kids can build a floating tower or compete with friends to stack bubbles as high as possible. Each set also includes one of 18 adorable Bubble Monster characters, so kids must keep playing to collect them all.

Handheld bubble machines aren’t new, but The Bubble Lab added a fun, musical twist to the concept. The Bubble Lab MegaPhone is a sound-activated blower that responds to the inflections in kids’ voices. Kids can hold down the trigger to release bubbles the old-fashioned way, or they can speak, sing, and shout into the microphone and watch their words soar into the air.

The Bubble Lab will showcase these innovative products and more at Toy Fair in Booth No. 2154. Visit Toy Fair’s website to register for the event before it kicks off March 1.
