The latest addition to the UNO Artiste Series is here. Mattel collaborated with artist Shantell Martin to create a new deck of UNO cards featuring Martin’s iconic line art. The set also includes four double-sided extra cards that recreate some of Martin’s original work when displayed together.
“The UNO Artiste Series offers an incredible opportunity to infuse my art into one of the most iconic card games in the world,” Martin says. “I’m honored to be part of the series and share my playful take on UNO, joining an impressive group of artists with Shepard Fairey, Takashi Murakami, Nina Chanel Abney, and more. My art is just like my life — never following a straight line — and I hope fans find comfort in the twists and turns along the way.”
The series mixes art from influential artists into the beloved card game. Keith Haring, Nina Chanel Abney, Shepard Fairey, and Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami have all designed installments in the series.
UNO Artiste Series: Shantell Martin will be available for $25 at Mattel Creations starting at 12 p.m. ET on Aug. 25.
