Jay and Silent Bob Farm with Nitrate Games
Nitrate Games is launching with Jay and Silent Bob’s Joint Venture, a farming simulation based on Kevin Smith’s cult-classic characters. Announced during Smith’s annual Saturday Night Hall H panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC), the game encourages players to build, cultivate, and expand their operation while interacting with familiar faces and experiencing an original story featuring the iconic duo. The game is entering beta testing and is expected to launch on Steam and PC next spring.
‘Xenoblade Chronicles 2’ Leads Nintendo’s Latest Weekly Lineup
Nintendo’s latest weekly update is headlined by the launch of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 — Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, which brings enhanced visuals and performance alongside new content and features, including a new Rare Blade and action battle mode. Players can also preorder EA SPORTS Madden NFL 27 ahead of its Aug. 13 launch for Nintendo Switch 2, with the Deluxe Edition offering up to three days of early access and additional in-game content.
Elsewhere, Nintendo Music adds a new batch of Free Roam playlists featuring tracks from Mario Kart World, while Donkey Kong Bananza kicks off another limited-time DLC event. My Nintendo members can also redeem new rewards inspired by Super Mario World and Splatoon Raiders, and another wave of games is arriving on Nintendo eShop across Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, including Lies of P: Complete Edition, Big Walk, PAW Patrol: Dino World, and Kynseed.
Esports Foundation, Adidas Partner for Esports Nations Cup
The Esports Foundation and Adidas have partnered to outfit every national team competing in the inaugural Esports Nations Cup (ENC), with custom jerseys and tracksuits planned for more than 100 countries and territories. The four-week event begins Nov. 2 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, bringing more than 2,000 athletes and coaches together to compete across 16 esports titles.
As the ENC’s Official Kit Partner and Global Partner, Adidas will create apparel that reflects each delegation’s national identity. The partnership comes as the Esports Foundation builds out a national team structure spanning more than 100 countries and territories ahead of the event.
