The Prince of Darkness is back for an encore at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights. Universal Products & Experiences (UP&E) has unveiled its final haunted house of the season, inspired by the life, music, and mythology of Ozzy Osbourne.
Created in collaboration with Global Merchandising Services, “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness” is an original haunt spotlighting the rockstar’s groundbreaking solo career, stretching from 1980 up until his passing in July 2025. The attraction will open this fall at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort, joining previously announced licensed experiences inspired by Stranger Things, Fortnite, Hellraiser, Sinners, and more.
Inside the walk-through, guests will explore the dark, surreal worlds of Osbourne’s 13 studio albums — including Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a Madman, Bark at the Moon, No More Tears, and Ordinary Man — all set to the tune of heavy-metal hits from across his decades-long discography.
“Ozzy never stopped pushing boundaries, and he loved anything that gave fans a new way to experience his music and the worlds he created,” Sharon and Jack Osbourne jointly stated. “Halloween Horror Nights has done an incredible job bringing that spirit to life. Walking through these haunted houses, you’ll recognize so many moments inspired by his music and imagination. It’s a wonderful tribute to Ozzy, and we hope fans have as much fun experiencing it as he would have had seeing it come together.”

To accompany the attraction, UP&E is also launching a limited-edition merchandise collection. The range features an Ozzy Osbourne T-shirt and two acrylic figurines that pair with the Halloween Horror Nights 2026 Infernal Carnival Collectible Display. Fans can shop the collection now at both the California and Florida theme parks and online at shopuniversal.com.
“We are honored to collaborate with the Osbourne family to create a unique haunted house that celebrates the legacy of Ozzy Osbourne,” said Mike Aiello, Senior Director of Entertainment Creative Development at Universal Orlando Resort. “It was important for us to create an authentic experience that brings Ozzy’s creativity and personality to life in an eerily immersive new way. Fans will discover so many meaningful details, including a few Easter Eggs, as they navigate memorable dark and twisted moments inspired by his iconic musical career.”
Halloween Horror Nights will kick off at Universal Orlando Resort on Aug. 28 and at Universal Studios Hollywood on Sept. 3. For more information about the event, visit Universal’s website.
