Warner Bros. Discovery Consumer Products (WBDGCP) will showcase a multi-year plan for its large portfolio of licensed properties at BLE.

Following the success of this year’s Superman, the company is looking to bring more projects to DC Studios. Upcoming releases from DC Studios include Supergirl, Clayface, and the live-action TV series Lanterns, all set to arrive next year. On Amazon Prime Video, the animated series Batman: Caped Crusader will see retail licensing projects developed to go alongside the release of its second season.

Next year also marks the 25th anniversary of the first film in the Harry Potter franchise, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (known as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in the U.S.). To commemorate the anniversary, the film will be re-released globally, and special edition merchandise will be available. The Lord of the Rings franchise will also celebrate its 25th anniversary next year, so WBCGCP aims to celebrate the occasion with year-round activations to keep spirits high for the 2027 release of The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum.

The company will also show new adaptations of its classic animated properties, like Tom and Jerry, Scooby-Doo, and Looney Tunes. Tom and Jerry recently saw a collaboration with the brand GOKKO, and will continue to see more additions in its lifestyle and plush categories. The Looney Tunes franchise will be partnering with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) next year for the Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games, which will happen alongside the 30th anniversary of the film Space Jam. The company is aiming for new content, with new animated feature films like Bad Fairies and Margie Claus, as well as more Scooby-Doo content, all set to release in 2027.

WBDGCP is also looking to showcase some of its offerings in the horror category, like the upcoming TV events The Conjuring: Last Rites and IT: Welcome to Derry. Both are set to release later this year.
