WeVeel is rolling into a new year with a new CEO at the helm.

Beginning Jan. 18, Valerie Marderosian will step into the role as current CEO Danny Kwok moves into a new role within WeVeel’s global business unit.

“It has been an immense honor to be the CEO of WeVeel and to lead such a dynamic team,” says Kwok. “I am extremely proud of the achievements we’ve made over the last three years. Our sales are up more than 30% from 2019, we have a broader global customer base, new process implementations, ERP integration, and have expanded our core product categories.”

Marderosian joins the maker of toys, craft, and stationery products from IG Design Group Americas where she most recently served as vice president of marketing and product development. She previously held positions at companies including 4 Kids Co. Ltd and iLoveToCreate/Duncan Enterprises.

WeVeel is a subsidiary of Ningbo Paramont Import & Export Co. Ltd. and produces products under the Scentos, Chalkadoos, Sugar Rush, Whackables, and Twistios brands in addition to other products sold worldwide at more than 70,000 retail locations.
