The Sonic Prime Netflix series saw its second season release this past July, and the brand has a growing portfolio of new products on the horizon to complement it. We’ve already covered a number of licensing partnerships entered with WildBrain CPLG and SEGA of America for Sonic Prime, but there’s more where that came from, with new lines of toys, apparel, and other products.

The innovative and creative range of products for 'Sonic Prime' has already begun to delight fans at retail, and there are many more to come this fall and winter and into 2024.

New products coming outside the world of toys and games include adult and children’s apparel in the UK and Ireland from Cooneen by Design; personal care products in Benelux from Caresse Cosmetics; perfume and toiletries in Northern Cyprus and Türkiye from Nuans Kozmetik; outdoor products such as bikes and scooters in Benelux from Kubbinga; candy in Türkiye, Europe, and MENA from Thor Teknoloji; and an Easter egg range in Greece from Markidis.

In addition to the new partners, existing relationships are seeing releases of new product lines. PMI recently launched a Prism Toy exclusive to Walmart and JAKKS Pacific released a first line of Sonic Prime toys and plush in July.

Sonic Prime will be represented by WildBrain CPLG (Booth No. B171) and SEGA (Booth No. A181) at Brand LIcesning Europe this year. The series premiered worldwide on Netflix in December 2022, and its second season saw more than 14.7 million hours viewed in the first two weeks. The Sonic brand itself celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2021 and continues to grow with new shows, games, movies, and more.
