In this week’s episode of the “Power Kid Podcast,” host Phil Albritton of Power Kid Design speaks with screenwriter Jordan Gershowitz, author of the new book, Ignore the Trolls.
Gershowitz has written, developed, and/or produced content for nearly every major network. He has written episodes of The Tom and Jerry Show and Danger Mouse, and for Sesame Street Live! Recent TV credits include Nickelodeon’s Welcome to the Wayne and RBUK (AKA Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty); Warner Bros.’ Bunnicula; and Gigantosaurus, which airs daily on Disney Channel.
Jordan, son of toy industry veteran Ed Gershowitz, discusses with Albritton the impact of growing up with close ties to the toy world. He also delves into the rumor that his dad served as the model for the rare Toys “R” Us exclusive G.I. Joe action figure known as Captain Claymore while working at Hasbro in the mid-1980s.
