JAKKS Pacific and Disguise are re-upping a licensing agreement with EA to continue making products based on the free, multiplayer video game, Apex Legends. Apex Legends’ global licensing agent, Retail Monster, brokered the deal.
The game, designed by Respawn Entertainment, is a battle royale game where players must pick one of 24 legends with different abilities and play styles to become the last man standing.
“Apex Legends has proven to be a key driver for us year after year at retail,” says Craig Drobis, Senior Vice President of Marketing, JAKKS Pacific, “We are excited to continue working with EA and Respawn to offer fans and collectors a robust line of toys and action figures that can be enjoyed all year round.”
Apex Legends toys, collectibles, and costumes will be available at retail later this year. Current products from the partnership include Bloodhound, Octane, Pathfinder, Revenant, and Wraith costumes designed for kids and adults; matching weapons; surprise toys; and more.
