Kabam Games, the mobile developer behind Marvel Contest of Champions and Transformers: Forged to Fight, acquired Riposte Games & Co, a Montreal-based games developer led by video games professionals from Ubisoft, Gameloft, and Ludia. Riposte focuses on cross platform, midcore games for mobile and Windows PC.

Starting today, Kabam will assume publishing and marketing responsibilities for Riposte’s Mini Guns – Omega Wars (pictured top) and future titles from the studio. Riposte will operate under the Kabam Montreal label.
