Spielwarenmesse 2018 will give an exclusive look at the latest international licensing trends and innovations. This is the second year that it partnered with the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA) to provide licensors and licensees with a central point of contact. The show will take place from January 31 to February 4.

The LicensePreview will add a new presentation format to this category, and give LIMA members the opportunity to invite selected business contacts to view their licenses in private rooms, including CPLG (Paramount Pictures), Fox Consumer Products, and NBC Universal. In addition, the licensing association will return to its stand in the foyer of Hall 12.0. LIMA’s Charles Riotto will also hold a presentation at the Toy Business Forum on January 31 where he will discuss “Worldwide Trends in Licensing.”

Additionally, licensing advertising will include a life-size toy box to mark the 50th anniversary of Mattel’s Hot Wheels, an LED wall with images from NBC Universal, and the Walt Disney Co.’s “10 Years Marvel Cinematic Universe” exhibition.

Licensed products and locations can be found in the TrendGuide, available at the Info-Counter in the TrendGallery in Hall 3A and online.
