Trivial Pursuit: A 50-State Adventure School-Break Week and Exhibit Opening Celebration is scheduled for February 14 to 22 at The Strong Museum in Rochester, N.Y. Visitors can explore the history of the U.S. through dozens of interactive stations, as well as classic and special edition Trivial Pursuit questions.
During school-break week only, students can learn about the Finger Lakes region through a variety of activities, such as answering questions about the area by placing a magnet on a large map of central New York, or guessing the identity of local landmarks, people, and more. They can also craft a paper white hot and lilac, Rochester’s famous food and flower.
Each section of Trivial Pursuit: A 50-State Adventure features activities specific to the customs and geography of regions across the country. To accommodate families during the busy February school-break week, February 16 to 20, when the museum parking lot may become full, The Strong will offer free shuttle service to and from the East End Garage. Shuttles will run continuously from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on February 16 to 19, and 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on February 20.
The exhibit will remain on view at The Strong through May 10.
