Mattel plans to make a big splash in the future by revealing Mattel Wonder Indoor Waterparks. This series of aquatic destinations will bring a new form of entertainment by incorporating its beloved brands into the attraction.Â
The company is currently planning five unique destination waterparks, with confirmed locations in Orlando, Florida; Bellevue, Nebraska; and Bradley, Illinois. For this project, Mattel will partner with Martin Aquatic, American Resort Management, and the I-dentity Group. Each location will incorporate beloved properties, such as Barbie and Hot Wheels, across attractions like lazy rivers, wave pools, and waterslides.

Martin Aquatic, the aquatic design firm, will lead the concept-to-engineering design of the waterparks’ experiences. The company’s global portfolio includes notable works such as Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day at CocoCay and Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay. American Resort Management will oversee day-to-day operations and optimize guest flow, while I-dentity Group elevates the experience through themed signage, spatial storytelling, and immersive decor.
More details about Mattel Wonder Indoor Waterparks will be announced at a later date. To learn more about Mattel’s beloved brands, visit mattel.com.
