Vango Toys is encouraging kids to trade screen time for outside play with the launch of the Anti-Couch Coalition, a new initiative designed to get more children active and engaged outside.
The program launches alongside The Original Cone Toss, Vango Toys’ newest game. Through the Anti-Couch Coalition, the company will donate Cone Toss samples to organizations that prioritize outside activities, including summer camps, sports camps, schools, after-school programs, and youth recreation organizations.
“The Anti-Couch Coalition was created to inspire a new generation to rediscover the fun of simple, active outdoor play, and the launch of Cone Toss paired with the outdoor months makes this a natural fit for less screen time and more game time,” says Alex Tongue, CEO of Vango Toys.
The company also plans to highlight participating organizations across Cone Toss social media channels. User-submitted photos and videos will be featured to showcase kids playing, competing, and spending time outside with the game.
The launch comes as outside play and screen-free activities continue to be a focus for many families, educators, and youth organizations. By pairing the initiative with the release of The Original Cone Toss, Vango Toys hopes to encourage more opportunities for active play during the summer months.
