Hasbro expands its tabletop portfolio with Monopoly Brainrot Billionaire, featuring a new edition designed for Generation Z and Generation Alpha.Â
Families can connect with their youngest members through a board game based on brainrot. Brainrot is a term for jokes, memes, and phrases commonly used by younger generations, specifically Gen Alpha. Across this Monopoly edition, players will find trending slang words such as beta, rizz, sigma, and 6-7.
The classic tabletop title gets a modern makeover featuring brainrot elements and phrases. Instead of the traditional playing pieces, players move with tokens of a rubber duck, a pickup truck, a trumpet, a loaf of bread, a boot, and a bathtub. Community Chest and Chance cards are swapped for Chat and Slop, and the title offers new ways to play with the inclusion of brainrot chips.
In this game, players travel around the board to buy properties like Cooked Courtyard, Aura Avenue, Sus Street, and Rage Bait Road. Players can also collect brainrot chips to earn billions or steal them from their opponents. Like traditional Monopoly, the game ends when all properties are owned. The player with the most valuable collection of cash, properties, and chips wins.
Monopoly Billionaire Brainrot launches this August, with preorders available through Walmart.
