The Halloween & Costume Association (HCA) has announced the finalists for the third annual Spooky Awards, recognizing products across eight categories ahead of the awards ceremony in January.
This year’s categories include Accessories, Adult Costume, Child Costume, Licensed Costume, Most Unique Costume, Decor, Masks, and Most Innovative Product. Entries were evaluated by a panel of industry experts based on innovation, marketability, trendsetting potential, appeal, and usefulness.
Fans will also have a chance to weigh in through the Spooky Awards Fan Vote, which runs from Oct. 1-15. Fan Vote finalists in each category will be announced Oct. 16, and the finalist receiving the most votes will be named the Fang Favorite during the Spooky Awards ceremony.
“We had a great group of entries this year, and narrowing them down was not easy for our judges,” shares Michele Boylstein, Executive Director of HCA. “We’re excited to recognize this year’s finalists and celebrate the people and companies that bring so much creativity to Halloween.”
Winners will be announced live Jan. 11, 2027, during HCA’s Spooky Awards Ceremony at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans. The ceremony will take place during the Halloween & Party Expo Welcome Reception and is part of the Halloween & Party Expo, which runs Jan. 11-13 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
