Members of the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA) elected two specialty toy industry leaders to its Executive Committee and four to its board of directors at ASTRA’s Marketplace & Academy today in Pittsburgh. The new representatives are:
- Chair-elect: Amy Saldanha, CMR, CPE, kiddywampus, Hopkins, Minnesota;
- Secretary: Nick Tarzia, Stamford Toys, Stamford, Connecticut; and
- Directors: Jeanie Crone, Schleich USA Inc, Charlotte, North Carolina; Corey Funkey, CPE, Smart Toys and Games Inc., San Francisco; Lisa Orman, KidStuff Public Relations, Black Earth, Wisconsin; and Brad Ruoho, Legacy Toys, Duluth, Minnesota.
Christine Blumberg, CPE, of Roberts Blumberg Giacobbe in Guilford, Connecticut, assumed the role of chair of the ASTRA Board of Directors. She has served as chair-elect for the past year.
