Baldi's Basics

Fueled by the success of YouTube playthrough videos that have racked up millions of views, the viral indie horror game Baldi’s Basics is coming to toy aisles as a new line of toys and collectibles, from PhatMojo.

The “edutainment” spoof launched last year, gaining steam through viral videos and memes. Now, thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, a full version of Baldi’s Basics in Education and Learning is on the way, from Basically Games. Timed with the back-to-school season and the debut of the new game demo, the first product launch includes action figures, plush, and collectibles.

“I’m really excited about these new products! It’s awesome, and a little surreal, to have figures of these ridiculous characters I made sitting on my desk. I’m really happy with how they all came out and I’m glad that fans are excited too!” says Baldi creator, Micah McGonigal.

In Baldi’s Basics, players attempt to escape a school while being chased by Baldi, who challenges the players with questions. A wrong answer provokes Baldi’s wrath.
