Kids will soon have another medium to enjoy the animated children’s show, Bing.
Rocket Licensing, the company that manages the licensing campaign for the Bing brand in the U.K. and Ireland, is launching a series of infant-to-toddler-focused newspapers and comics under the Nursery Times and Crinkly Comics brand at the Toy Fair in London from Jan. 20-22.
The four new issues will include two Nursery Times Newspapers, based on the show’s episodes “Frog” and “Smoothie,” and two Crinkly Comics, Bing: At Home and Bing: Matching Colours, which will help kids learn to read and recognize patterns. The books are lightweight for little hands to hold, and feature a sensory crinkly-textured paper that is washable and tear-resistant. The line will be distributed at Waterstones and independent retailers, such as baby boutiques, bookshops, toy shops, museums, zoos, and online retailers. The line is set to launch this August.
