Upper Deck expands its entertainment portfolio with a new tabletop game, Legendary: A DC Deck-Building Game.
This new addition is a standalone deck-building game that adapts its gaming format with original artwork and new content. Inspired by the DC Comics universe, this unique tabletop game incorporates fan-favorite heroes and villains into its gameplay.
In this tabletop experience, players work with and against each other to defeat the forces of evil. The game features notable villains like The Joker, Two-Face, and Doctor Poison. To thwart a villain’s scheme, players can enlist the aid of superheroes like Superman, Batman, and Starfire.

In this edition of Legendary, players will have new gameplay features inspired by the DC Comics universe. Because many DC heroes have secret identities, players will have to use the cards’ new Transform mechanic. Players must also use strategy to get certain heroes to work together in the same deck, such as Batman, who thrives on the fear he instills, and Superman, who represents the hope he inspires in others.Â
For this DC-inspired game, 1-5 players must use strategy to prevail against villains. Each round is unique and rooted in strategy. As players modify their decks, they will play to see if their choices lead to triumph or defeat. The set will include 500 playable cards, 60 dividers, a playmate, a rulebook, and a metal tracker.
Legendary: A DC Deck-Building Game will be available in 2026. To learn more about the upcoming tabletop game, visit upperdeck.com/legendarydc.
