Disney Consumer Products (DCP) has promoted 20-year company veteran Joss Hastings to SVP of Marketing as the division prepares to move from under Disney Experiences to the Disney Entertainment umbrella this fall.
In this new role, Hastings will spearhead DCP’s global marketing strategy, working across regions and teams to grow the business, strengthen its brands, and connect with Disney’s broad worldwide fanbase. She will report jointly to Disney’s Chief Marketing and Brand Officer, Asad Ayaz, and Lisa Baldzicki, DCP’s president.

Throughout her two decades with Disney, Hastings has developed and executed a number of award-winning campaigns across consumer products, television, digital, music, parks, and gaming. Most recently, she served as VP of Global Marketing for Disney Pixar & Softlines, where she built marketing programs for Toy Story, Disney Princesses, and Mickey and Friends, including the all-encompassing Disney100 celebration and Formula 1’s Fuel the Magic campaign.
“Joss is one of those rare marketers who knows how to turn a big creative idea into something that connects with consumers, shows up in culture, and drives the business,” says Ayaz. “She knows Disney, our brands, and our fans incredibly well, and has an outstanding track record of bringing teams and partners together on work that breaks through. As Consumer Products enters this next chapter, I can’t think of a better leader to take its marketing forward.”
