Mobile games company Jam City entered a multi-year partnership with Disney that includes developing new games and taking over Disney’s existing mobile game, Disney Emoji Blitz.
The deal gives Jam City rights to develop new games based on Disney and Pixar characters. The company has already started on a game based on the upcoming Frozen sequel.
Some employees from Disney’s Glendale Games Studio will transition to Jam City to continue working on Disney Emoji Blitz.
