Fat Brain Toys and Make: teamed up to launch Kidventor Challenge. The contest gives kids in first through sixth grade an opportunity to submit toy or game ideas for the chance for Fat Brain Toys to bring the concept to market.
The winner will also receive a $2,500 advance scholarship, a licensing agreement that offers the opportunity to earn additional royalties, and round trip airfare with hotel accommodations for two to the 2018 North American International Toy Fair in New York City.
Judges include Karen Carson, co-founder of Fat Brain Toys, and Nolan Bushnell, founder of the Atari Corporation and Chuck E. Cheese’s Pizza Time Theater.
Participants can submit the name, description of their invention, and an optional image or drawing to share their ideas. The Kidventor Challenge will run through Nov. 14, and the winner will be announced in November.
