This summer, Toys “R” Us, partnered with marketing agency Known, will be offering an immersive experience kicking off at the Macy’s flagship store in Herald Square, New York City.

Geoffrey’s Tour Across America will feature weekend events with entertainment, food, VIP experiences, giveaways, and more. The series of events across various American cities follows the relaunch of Toys “R” Us within Macy’s stores.

“Toys“R”Us brings the same magic it always has, but in new and modern ways that are designed for families to connect and make memories together through play.  We do this in part by providing toys and experiences online and at every Macy’s store all year long,” says Kim Miller, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Toys“R”Us. “Now, we are sending Geoffrey across the country to kick up the excitement for families to have what we call a ‘playcation’ where you put your responsibilities aside and embrace fun. And what we have in store for you is like nothing you’ve seen before.”

The tour begins at the Herald Square Macy’s location and continues from there, with stops at other Macy’s throughout the country. The tour will feature opportunities for kids and families to track Geoffrey’s progress as he goes from location to location in the “Geoffrey Mobile.” Toys “R” Us and Known, as well as event marketing agency the Sharpe Alliance, plan to provide opportunities for brand spotlights and unique integrations. More information about the overall event will be available on the Toys “R” Us website as Summer 2023 draws closer.
