Hyperkin’s Drakong Team is gearing up for Anime Expo Chibi with a major reveal for fans of gaming and Japanese pop culture. The company debuts a brand-new anime IP under its Pixel Art line of collectible video game controllers and cases during the convention, taking place Nov. 7-9 at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, California.
The line reimagines classic gaming controllers with bold colors and retro pixel designs, combining nostalgic aesthetics with modern functionality. Each controller features a pixelated motif inspired by vintage game graphics, appealing to both players and collectors.
In addition to new anime designs, gamers can find controllers with other licensed designs, including Miraculous Ladybug, Heinz Ketchup, Kool-Aid, and Kraft Mac and Cheese. The anime titles inspiring the Drakong Team at Hyperkin have yet to be disclosed.
Attendees can visit Booth No. 1822 to demo the latest Pixel Art controllers at hands-on gaming stations and get a first look at the new anime collaboration. The Drakong Team hints that a few additional surprises may be in store throughout the weekend as it continues to expand into the anime space.
Hyperkin’s launch marks another step in its mission to bridge gaming culture and creative fandom. Fans can explore the full Pixel Art lineup and learn more about the brand at hyperkin.com/pixel-art-controllers.
