The global multimedia company In Kidz is launching newly-designed activity kits to expose kids to the lives and traditions of different cultures, one box at a time.

The learning kits are filled with interactive, family-friendly activities and games designed for kids ages 3 and up, representing Australia, Black America, Dia de los Muertos, Guatemala, Italy, and France.

In addition, the In Kidz Academy will launch at Booker T. Washington Child Development Centers in Phoenix, Arizona, serving more than 700 students this school year. This curriculum-based program aligns with common-core standards and fosters cultural inclusivity. Classroom activities allow students to engage with and celebrate various cultures around the world, while also providing a guide for teachers to encourage culturally sensitive dialogue that enhances the classroom experience for all kids.

“We are excited about the growth of the In Kidz brand and believe it signifies that parents, caregivers, and educators are looking for fun ways to teach kids to embrace differences and learn about each other’s heritage,” says Dr. Zabina Bhasin, a child psychiatrist and founder of In Kidz. “Now in our third year, we’re not only expanding to reach more children through the academy, but also our retail footprint to make it more convenient for families to play and learn together.”

The activity kits are curated by trusted ambassadors who are subject matter experts from around the globe with experience in cultivating kids’ emotional intelligence and fostering healthy social interaction. Each country and culture kit gives both kids and adults a look into the many traditions that are celebrated around the world, and families quickly learn that there are more global similarities than differences.

“We want to do all that we can to create the best possible educational experience for our children,” says Jevin Hodge, President of Booker T. Washington Child Development Centers. “With the changes that are occurring nationally within diversity and education, I believe that it is imperative to teach our brilliant youth how to be global citizens and how to be accepting of each other’s differences. This curriculum provides our next generation of doctors, lawyers, leaders, educators, and artists a deeper understanding of the world and each other.”

In Kidz activity kits are available online and at national retailers, including select Kohl’s stores and kohls.com for a limited time. They are available in small kits for $29.99 and large kits for $49.99.
