Fresh off the launch of its new anime-dedicated product division, JAKKS Pacific has announced Crunchyroll as the platform’s inaugural partner.

The two companies are joining forces to transform Crunchyroll’s extensive library of anime content into officially licensed toys, costumes, and collectibles. This partnership marks the first major deal under JAKKS’ recently established anime platform, with more still to come throughout the year.

Under this agreement, JAKKS will design, manufacture, and market a wide range of anime-inspired products, including action figures, plush, tech accessories, cosplay, and more. Among the initial lineup, fans will spot beloved series like Solo Leveling, My Hero Academia, Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, and Black Clover. More licenses are already in the works, including a collection inspired by Crunchyroll’s upcoming Sekiro: No Defeat

“As JAKKS continues its expansion into anime, Crunchyroll quickly rose to the top of our list of ideal partners,” said Ariana Berman, Senior Director of the Anime Division at JAKKS Pacific. “With its industry-leading platform and content, Crunchyroll sets the standard for anime, and this partnership allows us to dive headfirst into a fast-growing category and connect with even more fans worldwide.”

“JAKKS Pacific shares our commitment to creating high-quality products that resonate with fans around the globe,” said Anna Songco Adamian, Vice President of Global Consumer Products, Crunchyroll. “As demand for anime continues to grow worldwide, we look forward to working with JAKKS to expand our consumer product offerings to bring beloved properties to life in new and meaningful ways.”
