Learning Express Toys & Gifts wrapped up its annual Convention and Toy Expo in June.

The convention was held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel in Schaumburg, Illinois this year, which marked the 36th anniversary of the franchise, and the 24th in-person convention.

The franchise experienced record sales in recent years. Four new locations have been opened since last year’s convention, and three additional stores are set to open in the remainder of this year.

Additionally, Learning Express Toys & Gifts and Kidz Korna collected boxes of donations that the 100+ vendors in attendance contributed. The vendors ultimately donated thousands of toys to Kidz Korna, ranging from arts kits to infant toys to sports equipment.

The donations will benefit Chicago-area children in need through age 14.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Kidz Korna and bring joy to kids local to Chicago who need it most,” says Rick Derr, the Regional Owner of Learning Express Toys & Gifts in the Chicago area.
