Line Friends originally emerged from the franchise Brown & Friends and was used as stickers for the messaging app Line, thus its name. Since then, the brand has expanded to satisfy the large cult following it has garnered.
Previously, the brand’s merchandise was only available in flash sales. Now, the Line Friends Collection featuring more than 580 pieces of character-based merchandise from stuffed animals, beauty products, electronics, apparel, home decor, and more, will be available via the new website.
Line Friend’s 8-hour flash sale tradition will continue two to four times a month for specific items. Consumers can also look out for events such as “Hide and Seek” where buyers can search the site for discount codes up to 70% off or “Holiday Spirit” where one shopper a week will be chosen to receive $100 worth of merchandise completely free.
Line Friends plans to launch an interactive element to their website in December with bonus content such as videos and illustrations.
