This weekend, Little Tikes will host the World’s Biggest Play Date to commemorate the brand’s golden anniversary.
On Saturday, May 18, families will celebrate Little Tikes’ 50th anniversary at events in 12 cities around the globe, with those at home invited to “Play Big!” by hosting grassroots parties of their own.
“Little Tikes is an iconic brand and it’s only befitting that we celebrate 50 years with our fans around the world,” says Isaac Larian, CEO and founder of MGA Entertainment Inc. (MGAE) “Play Big events in the U.K. have seen a great success with over 25,000 fans celebrating and being active together. The World’s Biggest Play Date will create new memories, bring laughter and smiles to parents and kids, and most of all, will get parents and kids playing TOGETHER!”
The largest event will take place in Pasadena, California, close to Little Tikes parent MGAE’s new home base in Chatsworth. The Los Angeles-area event will feature adult-size replicas of classic Little Tikes products will allow parents to join in the fun with their kids.

Brand partners such as Apple & Eve, Banana Boat, Frigo Cheese Heads, Homes.com, Joy Cone, Outshine, Punchbowl, Sun-Maid, Tinybeans, TruMoo, and Little Baby Bum will join the initiative, with many onsite at the LA-based event. Several will feature promotions with Little Tikes branding on their packaging.
The Tangent Agency and The Visionary Group are working with MGAE to bring the L.A. event to life.
