With the annual Toy Fair season shifting out of winter due to the continued COVID-19 pandemic, retailers and toymakers alike continue to evolve the manner in which new products are being brought to market, and that means getting creative.

Canada’s Mastermind Toys is throwing open the doors for all toymakers, inventors, and distributors to pitch new toys and games for 2021 as part of its first-ever Mastermind Toys Play Preview event. This special showcase opportunity is open to everyone, whether they’ve worked with Mastermind in the past or will be making their first pitch. It’s an open call for new products that could soon be stocking the shelves and pegs as part of Mastermind’s curated assortment of toys and games at 68 retail locations across Canada, and online.

Interested participants should consult the Mastermind Toys Play Preview website for full details and to submit an application form by Dec. 31.

Select applicants will be paired with one or more category buyers for an opportunity to formally pitch toys in mid-January.
