Production and distribution company Nacelle has recently tapped Hud Woodle to head its International Sales Division. Nacelle is currently expanding its production, distribution, and toy manufacturing division as the company develops the NacelleVerse.

Woodle most recently served as Head of Global Sales & Acquisitions at GRB Studios. Over the last decade, Woodle has served as Vice President of International Program Sales at Scripps Networks International as well as Vice President of International Program Sales and Distribution and General Manager of Food Networks Asia. Woodle also held roles at NBC Universal International Television as a sales executive for E! Entertainment and at Tech TV in global program sales.

“Following the global success of The Center Seat: 55 Years of Trek and Icons Unearthed, I am thrilled to join the Nacelle team, and further grow its international presence,” Woodle says. “We’ve already announced Icons Unearthed: James Bond and Discontinued, with several more new series coming soon that are sure to appeal to audiences around the world.”

The NacelleVerse is a shared universe of animated series based on nostalgic franchises and toys including Robo Force, Biker Mice from Mars, Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa, and more. Robo Force: The Animated Series is expected to premiere next year. The NacelleVerse will feature new products and comics in addition to the animated series for each franchise.

“The addition of Hud is like adding rocket fuel to our ship. He will help us expand on all of our capabilities in a major time of growth for Nacelle,” says Brian Volk-Weiss, Nacelle Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “Buckle up, it’s gonna be a fun ride!”
