The virtual event slate from the People of Play (POP) is expanding.

On Monday, April 11, POP will host the first installment of Three Truths and a Lie, a new, virtual series that will take place on the second Monday of each month at 8 p.m. ET in the POP Pub on the POP website.

For the inaugural event, Spin Master’s Vice President of Innovation and Inventor Relations Rich Mazel will play host to four toy industry guests who will share stories — one of which will be a straight-up lie.

Guests Include:

  • Dougal Grimes | vice president of innovation and inventor Relations — games, GUND, outdoor and activities, Spin Master
  • Peggy Brown | president, Peggy Brown Creative
  • Robert Fuhrer | founder, Nextoy
  • David Fuhrer | managing director, BlueSquare Innovations

During the show, audience members will have to determine who’s lying. While the show is free to attend, organizers are requesting that attendees RSVP so that they have a pulse on the crowd.

Future themes for Three Truths and a Lie include PR disasters, toy industry entry points, successes and failures, and more.
