The Pinkfong Company enters an exclusive distribution partnership with Mattel to reintroduce Pingu to audiences in Korea. The beloved stop-motion series will return to the domestic market with episodes from the ’90s and ’00s. 

Pingu, first introduced in the 1980s, is a kids’ series following a mischievous young penguin and his adventures. With viewership in more than 150 countries, this series has become a beloved pop culture icon across generations. With stop-motion charm and universal humor, Pingu makes its return to Korean audiences.

Audiences can watch beloved episodes from the Pingu Classic Series starting Sept. 19. New episodes release weekly on leading pay-TV and digital platforms. The partnership will also reintroduce the Pingu at the Wedding Party special and Pingu in the City
