Playmates Toys is expanding its 2026 lineup with new crossover action figures, collector-focused releases, and additions to its Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Re-Ignition range. The slate includes a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x G.I. Joe collaboration, Kaiju-inspired Power Rangers figures, and new products tied to the second season of the Re-Ignition series.
An all-new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x G.I. Joe crossover line pairs characters from both franchises in reimagined 4.5-inch figures. The assortment includes Leonardo X Snake Eyes, Donatello X Dial-Tone, Michelangelo X Shipwreck, Raphael X Roadblock, Shredder X Cobra Commander, Krang X Destro, Slash X Storm Shadow, Bebop X Ripper, Rocksteady X Buzzer, and April X Scarlett. The line also features two vehicles, the Turtle-Fly Copter and the A.W.E. Shell-Striker, with products arriving exclusively at Target beginning in August. Figures are priced at $15.99 for ages 4 and up, while vehicles feature spinning blades, missile-firing functions, and figure compatibility.

Playmates is also introducing Kaiju Rangers, a new line based on the comic series Godzilla vs Mighty Morphin Power Rangers II. Designed for collectors, the figures merge Power Rangers characters with kaiju-inspired designs. The first wave includes Green “Godzilla” Ranger, Blue “Anguirus” Ranger, and Red “Rodan” Ranger, each featuring multiple points of articulation, a signature weapon, and a display stand. Additional releases are planned later in 2026.
The company is continuing to build on its Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Re-Ignition toy line following its July 2025 debut. New products support the launch of Season 2 of the Re-Ignition series on YouTube and include five Thunder Zords that combine to form a 15-inch Mega Thunderzord, new heroes and villains featured in the upcoming season, and classic 8-inch-scale figures inspired by the original 1993 release. The line also expands its Auto-Morphin action figure assortment, which features a lever-activated head-flipping transformation from civilian to hero form, alongside collectible mini figures and additional characters planned throughout the year.
The expanded portfolio reflects Playmates’ continued focus on action figure play, collector appeal, and franchise-driven storytelling across multiple entertainment properties.
