Playmobil is entering the world of professional football through a new licensing partnership with Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL), marking the largest deal of its kind in the company’s history.
Ahead of the full launch, Playmobil releases an exclusive starter set next March, featuring six players: Harry Kane, Mario Götze, Angelo Stiller, Julian Brandt, Luka Vušković, and Saïd El Mala. The collaboration extends Playmobil into one of the strongest global sports environments and introduces football as a new strategic category for the brand.
Fans can collect 198 officially licensed figures representing players from all 18 Bundesliga clubs, each meticulously recreated with attention to detail, including accurate jersey designs and individual details. The full lineup takes the pitch in September 2026.
Under the initiative’s theme, “Your World. Your Stadium.”, the partnership aims to create a collecting experience that appeals to both football supporters and longtime Playmobil fans. The company says the project represents a significant expansion of its presence in contemporary fan culture, bringing its figures to a new audience deeply connected to the sport.
