Michaels elevates its shopping experience by testing new store models at select locations in Arkansas, Ohio, and Texas. These store debuts mark the acceleration of the company’s transformation strategy, with future rollouts across all locations.
With a customer-first approach, Michaels is transforming its retail experience through new store concepts. At each location, the company will implement distinct shopping worlds to spark creativity and celebration in its customers. This includes designated spaces for knitting and sewing, floral and greenery, frames and personalizations, fine arts, and more.
Alongside new expansions, this retail strategy creates a shopping area for artists of all ages. Families can explore the Crafting & Kids section for a curated assortment of crafts from Michaels’ private labels and leading national brands. This includes products from Blue Marble, Hasbro, Crayola, ZURU, Rainbow Loom, Creativity for Kids, and Ty.

Michaels will also elevate its Party & Seasonal departments through new additions and expansions. The Party Shop at Michels grows with an expanded party assortment, a Balloon Bar, and an upgraded space for hosting events. Shoppers will also find an elongated aisle for seasonal decor and a new Pinterest Trend Bar displaying viral trends.
