PlayMonster Bolsters Game Lineup with Set Enterprises Acquisition

Wisconsin-based PlayMonster LLC continues to increase its presence in the game aisle with the acquisition of Set Enterprises Inc.

Founded in 1990, and based in Arizona, Set Enterprises gained global presence with a lineup of family and educational games, including SET, Quiddler, Five Crowns, Karma, WordSpiel, and Zangle, along with brand extensions for multiple games. Its games are carried at retailers in more than 40 countries and have garnered over 100 awards.

“Set Enterprises has a terrific portfolio of card games and an impressive loyal consumer following that complement PlayMonster’s card game business,” says Chief PlayMonster Bob Wann. “The company has produced ingenious, thought-provoking games that have true staying power.
