The Rainbow High crew is welcoming six new dolls to create the brand’s most diverse and inclusive collection of characters yet.

Rainbow High’s fourth series maintains the fabulous glam of previous collections. Including a fashion doll with albinism, a character of South Asian Indian descent, a doll with vitiligo, and a multicultural Asian doll, each doll proudly represents their own identity with bold accessories. From chic eyeglasses to cowboy boots and even mehndi, every character offers a unique style for kids to identify with.

This line is part of MGA Entertainment’s (MGAE) larger effort to promote representation and self-expression. By introducing characters with a wide range of skin tones and appearances, the Rainbow High dolls offer a unique opportunity for little ones to identify themselves in their dolls.

“When Rainbow High debuted in 2020, our goal was to encourage fans to show their true colors through self-expression, and we are proud that in just over two short years the brand has revolutionized the fashion doll category,” says MGAE Founder and CEO Isaac Larian. “Our steadfast commitment to the themes of diversity and inclusivity across design and storytelling have set Rainbow High, and now Shadow High, apart from other fashion dolls on the market today.”

Fans will have an opportunity to catch a first look and purchase these new dolls, as well as the Shadow High collection, at Rainbow High’s first-ever experiential event, RH x SH Pop-Up, taking place on Sunday, May 22, in Los Angeles, California. At the event, fans will enter the worlds of Rainbow High and Shadow High, with interactive elements and an exclusive shopping event featuring three never-before-available dolls. Limited release of tickets for the event went on sale in early May and sold out in less than nine minutes.

Marketing efforts are also taking place in New York City with a building-sized, digital Rainbow High Times Square billboard. The interactive billboard asks fans to vote which team they are — Rainbow High or Shadow High — through a QR code and the visuals are the perfect backdrop for an epic selfie.

The Rainbow High dolls will be available to purchase later this year at global retailers including Amazon, Walmart, and Target.
