Razor is expanding its community.
The scooter brand is launching its first-ever brand campaign, Razor … Ride with Us. The new slogan — which was created in partnership with brand agency space.camp — will debut with a campaign featuring a brand anthem spot, social media and in-person activations, a new logo, and other promotions. The tagline was inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic, when Razor scooters were witnessing a resurgence amongst kids and adults as families were looking for activities to enjoy together outside.
“During the toughest part of the quarantine, being able to ride with others was a respite from isolation,” Razor President Jim Wagner said in a statement. “For many, Razor is not only a beloved brand, but also a way for riders to spend time with each other.”
In recognition of the first day of summer, Razor is introducing the new Razor … Ride with Us music video today. The music video features motocross stars Jeremy McGrath and Robbie Maddison, along with YouTube influencer Stephen Sharer. The video is releasing in theaters in New York and Los Angeles, and will also debut online across Razor’s social media channels.
Alongside the campaign, Razor is introducing a new logo featuring the Razor … Ride with Us branding that can be found on its packaging and in various promotions. The brand is also creating stickers that fans can attach to their vehicles or other ride-ons to echo Razor’s intentions to expand its community.
The team will also be creating influencer-led activations on both social media and in-person, with the first events rolling out this week. Fans of the brand can look forward to giveaways of products autographed by McGrath, Maddison, Sharer, and influencer Taxi Garage.
