Super7 is getting the band back together with Green Day for a new ReAction figure inspired by the band’s second album.
The 3.75-inch-scale collectible features the girl on the cover of Green Day’s Kerplunk! album and includes a smoking gun accessory. The figure comes in blister card-back packaging featuring original artwork inspired by the album cover created by Chris Applegren and Pat Hynes.
Kerplunk! dropped in 1991, featuring lyrics that highlight themes of loneliness and loss, along with iconic guitar patterns and drumming. Songs from the album include “2000 Lightyears Away” and “Welcome to Paradise.” The album originally came with a fictitious diary entry from Laurie L., an obsessed Green Day fan who would stop at nothing to go on tour with the band.
Super7 kicked off its partnership with Green Day last year with the Dookie Dog ReAction figure. Both Green Day ReAction figures are available at super7.com.
