The Bandai Spirits brand is getting a proper retail location in the U.S.
Known for the popular S.H.Figuarts and Chogokin series of figures, Tamashii Nations has been selling to collectors everywhere since the brand’s initial creation in 2008. The flagship store location for the brand opened in June of 2022 in Tokyo, Japan, followed not long after by a store in Shanghai, China. Now, Bandai Spirits is taking things stateside with a flagship U.S. store in New York City’s Times Square.

The store will regularly display a large portfolio of Tamashii Nations products, using digital display monitors as well as life-sized statues of figures. To celebrate the opening, the brand plans to display prototypes of upcoming releases in popular pop culture franchises such as Dragon Ball and Star Wars. The store will also offer limited-edition items that can only be found in the Tamashii Nation’s retail locations.
Limited edition items include S.H.Figuarts figures of Goku and Trigger Truth; an S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla figure; two Gundam, one Metal Build and one Nxedge Style; and Meisho Movie Realization Yojinbo Mandalorian and Grogu figures.
