Kid-friendly technology company VTech is staying on top of the trends with two of its newest products, which will be on display during Toy Fair New York (TFNY). The company will unveil the KidiZoom Creator Cam and Myla’s Sparkling Friends. Both toys, designed to stimulate kids’ creativity, will be available in the fall.

With the KidiZoom Creator Cam, kids ages 5 and up can take and edit video. Part of the Kidi electronics line, the high-definition video camera comes with basic video-editing capabilities, a green screen, and a tripod that can flip into a carrying handle. Kids can use more than 20 animated backgrounds to set the stage for their videos and flip the camera for selfie mode. The camera also includes a micro SD slot and a rechargeable battery.

VTech also expands last year’s Myla the Magical Unicorn robotic toy with Myla’s Sparkling Friends assortment, designed for kids ages 4 and up. The assorted characters include six fantastical creatures, including a unicorn, a peacock, and a dragon. The characters talk, sing, and light up in a rainbow of colors as kids interact with them. Myla’s Sparkling Friends can respond with more than 100 magical responses, reveal lucky colors, and change colors as kids press their buttons. Press on each figure’s legs to see its legs or wings move and create a luminous light show. Myla’s Sparkling Friends (each sold separately) come with accessories, such as hair clips, combs, and rings.

VTech will showcase its product range in booth No. 1C03 at TFNY, taking place from Feb. 22-25 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
