Is your product or startup embracing the opportunities presented from emerging tech?

At this year’s Toy Fair, attendees will hear from a panel of design experts who are driving innovation in the toy and game space through the integration of artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual reality, and augmented reality in toys and games during a “Play Innovation Panel.” Taking place on Sunday, February 17 from 10 to 11 a.m. (Creative Factor Theater, Hall 1D Lobby), the panel session will explore how emerging tech is set to shape the toys and games of the future—and showcase how it’s already changing the ways in which kids (and big kids) play. The session will be moderated by Billy Langsworthy, co-founder of Mojo Nation in the U.K. and a member of Creative Factor’s new Advisory Board.

The session is a part of the show’s expanded Creative Factor educational programming and free to all Toy Fair registrants.

“Both toy company titans and some of industry’s most exciting new start-ups are embracing the opportunities that developments in technology can bring,” says Marian Bossard, executive vice president of global market events at The Toy Association. “We encourage all toy inventors, designers, and artists to grab a seat at this engaging session to hear actionable lessons from their peers’  experiences.”

As part of its ongoing commitment to support and foster growth within the global toy inventor and designer community, The Toy Association has significantly expanded and enhanced Toy Fair’s Creative Factor programming, guided by its Advisory Board made up of innovators and experts across a range of creative fields. All Toy Fair registrants are welcome to participate in a full schedule of roundtables, presentations, workshops, and panels focused on the interests and goals of inventors, designers, and others in the creative community.  Sessions will be held throughout the four days in the Creative Factor Theater (Hall 1D Lobby).

In addition, toy manufacturers are invited to hear product pitches from select inventors and designers during The Toy Association’s inaugural “CF@TF Inventor Day,” taking place on Friday, February 15. For more information contact The Toy Association’s Marian Bossard.

Toy Fair New York will take place February 16 to 19 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Visit ToyFairNY.com or download the free Toy Fair app on Apple iTunes or Google Play for the full list of Creative Factor programming and other informative educational sessions taking place only at Toy Fair.
