Iconic characters from the Hasbro portfolio are headed to the puzzle aisle in the U.S.

Trefl inked a multiyear licensing deal with Hasbro to create a new range of puzzles designed “for kids and kidults” that will feature properties including Peppa Pig, My Little Pony, Transformers, Magic: The Gathering, and Dungeons & Dragons.

“Hasbro is the perfect partner for us,” says Kazimierz Wierzbicki, Founder of the Trefl Group. “We’ve had a long-term relationship with Hasbro that extends decades, developing some of our most popular puzzles in Europe. Expanding our relationship to now include the U.S. is only befitting as we make our entry beyond the pond and introduce U.S. families to our unique licensed puzzle portfolio.”

The Trefl Red Puzzle Collection will launch in the U.S. for the first time with 500- and 1,000-piece puzzles designed for the whole family. The line will debut with Dungeons & Dragons, My Little Pony, Peppa Pig, and Transformers.

Additionally, Trefl will expand its Puzzle Prime Collection and Wood Craft line to include styles inspired by Transformers, Dungeons & Dragons, and Magic: The Gathering. The company says that these puzzles are aimed at tweens, kidults, and collectors.

A line of Peppa Pig preschool puzzles is already available.

Retailers can place orders for the new Hasbro x Trefl collections now ahead of the planned April launch.

Licensed products are a key element of Hasbro’s Blueprint 2.0 strategy that leans into expanding the reach of the company’s extensive portfolio through partnerships and new categories.
