International entertainment, sport, and brand licensing agency WildBrain CPLG is bringing two new executives to the company’s Greek offices. Alice Marinou will serve as the commercial director and Despina Chrisidou, reporting to Marinou, will serve as senior retail and sales manager.
Chrisidou previously served as the country manager for Greece for Mattel Consumer Products where she focused on driving Mattel’s licensing efforts in the region. Marinou formerly held the position of senior licensing and retail manager for fashion at The Walt Disney Co. Marinou will report to Maria Gurrieri, managing director of WildBrain CPLG Italy, Greece, and Turkey.
“Alice and Despina bring an outstanding level of expertise, knowledge, and passion for growing franchises and we are very excited to welcome them to the WildBrain CPLG Greece team,” Gurrieri says. “We have a diverse and colorful portfolio in the Greek market, including brands such as PAW Patrol, Peanuts, and Emoji to name just a few, and I look forward to working closely with Alice and Despina as we propel the success of all our brands even further.”
These hires are part of a larger growth effort to WildBrain’s international team, including new additions across the company’s territories in Central and Eastern Europe, Spain, Russia, and the Benelux region.
